LG Double Play: We really love this phone! First and foremost, it's 4G. My last smart phone was 3G. 3G is good, but 4G just soars. It's like driving a gas guzzler, and then getting a Tesla Sportster. You can compare them, but it not fair to the former. *Texting: The slide out full Qwerty keybd works even with my large fingers. On my previous phone, I was always having to be careful when I texted. I would often hit the key next to the one I wanted, or have to hit a key 5 times before it would register. The Double Play kybd has really good spacing is raised just enough to make typing fun again. When you don't have to constantly stop to correct typing errors, you can type really fast. *Camera: I take a lot of pictures. The camera on Double Play is fantastic. It's auto focus function really improves every picture I take. In a lot of ways, it's better than a regular camera, since its small, always with me, and the results are spectacular. *Email: You can easily set up your desk top email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo, and MSN. I have several POP email accounts, and it took minutes to set them all up. Now, everything that downloads to my desktop, also downloads to my phone. *Ease of USE: On the top left of the phones display, there is an area that tells you, you have emails, messages, calendar reminders, etc. When ever you see an icon in this area, you use your finger, and swype down a shade, and you get a prompt telling you: you missed a call (touch this, and it gives you detail on the missed call, i.e. who called, the number, etc), you have a voicemail, a calendar reminder, etc. On the base of the large display, you have preset buttons to take the display to the "Home" screen, a "Back" or go to last screen button, a "Search" buttong, and a "Menu" button.Read more ›

This is an awesome phone with plenty of storage. The battery charges fast. Absolutely no complaints! The phone shipped fast and there were no problems with using a sim from straighttalk.

it is great but has a old phone lag to it and can freeze sometimes with the a button not functioning properly but other than that a great unique design and handy when working on online and chatting.

I bought this phone to use with SimpleMobile and it works. It is faster than my unsupported Droid X on their network and it wasn't too hard setting it up to run on their mobile network either. I did have to hunt down the drivers online to install on my computer so I could transfer music and such onto the phone, but once I did that, no problems. I wanted a real keyboard and I haven't had too many problems getting used to the split keyboard design. I only wish there was a "shift" key on both sides of the keyboard, but this is a minor complaint. I've already dropped the phone a few times without ill consequences too. The calls are clear, it is easy to use and the camera has done a good job. I recommend this phone to anyone wanting a snappy phone that they can use on SImpleMobile. I save a TON of money not being tied to some contract and this phone does everything I want and need it to do.

I recommend the seller due to their professional and prompt customer service and the quality of the product. The seller was very courteous when contacted. This is a nice inexpensive 4G phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone that writes a lot of emails or text messages. It was packaged so nicely I wasn't sure whether they sent me the right product! I received the phone very timely. I couldn't believe it was so attractively priced. You don't get any extras only the basics for this price, but well worth it.

Both myself and my GF are on simple mobile. Stuck the sim card in, and was blazing along at 4G speeds. It's fast, and simple to use. If you are on simple mobile and looking for a great, cheap 4G phone. Get this phone.. Ok here is the but... The "programming instructions" from simple mobile's site says to delete the apn from T-Mobile and enter in their stuff. The apn from T-Mobile cannot be removed. This is why I have my doubts it's unlocked. I do not have a sim from another service so I cannot test this theory. This is why only four stars. In the end, it seems not to make a difference, but would like to know why it cannot be removed. In the end, I think this phone is awesome. If I would have seen this before I got my exhibit II, I would have gotten this phone...

Very affordable for the price it was just waiting on me to find it. I did not think I was going to ever get a good price on a new phone but it pays to keep checking. Love this phone!

T-Mobile doesnt sell this phone anymore and I dont know why because this is a great phone. My brother bought his phone a few months ago from T-Mobile for 450 dollars and when I seen this one on Amazon I had to have it.
